KidsCue Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 13, 2026

1. Who we are and what this policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains how Kids Cue LLC, a Nevada limited liability company ("KidsCue", "we", "us" or "our"), collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information when you use the KidsCue mobile application, the website at www.mykidscue.com, and our related services, communications and support (together, the "Service").

KidsCue is a parenting coach for adults. Parents and caregivers use it to get guidance about everyday situations with their children, read the KidsCue library, take short courses, and keep track of what works for their family.

The Service is offered in the United States. This policy does not cover third-party websites or services that we link to, or the app stores through which you download the app; their own privacy policies apply.

If you have any questions, contact us at mykidscue@gmail.com.

2. The short version

3. KidsCue is for adults, not children

The Service is intended for adults aged 18 or older who are a parent, legal guardian, or a caregiver authorized to make everyday decisions about a child. Children may not create accounts or use the Service.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13, or from any minor. Information about children is provided by their parent or caregiver, for the purpose of giving that adult guidance. If we learn that a child has created an account or sent us personal information directly, we will delete it promptly. If you believe this has happened, please contact us at mykidscue@gmail.com.

Because information about children is sensitive, we apply additional protections to it, described in Section 12.

4. Information we collect

4.1 Information you give us

Please share only what is needed. The app asks for a child's first name or nickname, not a full name. Please do not include last names, school names, addresses, photographs, or unnecessary details about other people.

4.2 Information collected automatically

4.3 Information we create

The Service analyzes the information above to personalize your experience. For example, it identifies the behaviors you log most often, the times of day that tend to be hardest for your family, and which suggestions worked. These insights are stored with your family account and are visible to you.

4.4 Information from others

5. Sensitive information

Some information you share may be sensitive, including information about a child's health or development (for example, an ADHD status, or difficulties with sleep, feeding, emotions or behavior), and details about your family.

We use sensitive information only to provide the Service you requested: to select and tailor guidance for your child, and to show safety resources when needed. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to infer characteristics about you for any other purpose.

We ask for your consent before you add health-related information about your child. You can withdraw consent at any time by removing that information from the child's profile or deleting it from your history. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already took place.

6. How we use information

We use personal information to:

We may create de-identified or aggregated information that cannot reasonably be linked to you or your child, for example the number of parents who asked about bedtime in a given month. We maintain it in de-identified form, do not attempt to re-identify it, and may use it to improve the Service.

7. How AI is used in KidsCue

7.1 Where answers come from

The KidsCue library is written in advance by our team. When you describe a situation, the app first looks for a matching answer in the library. If it finds a good match, you receive a pre-written answer adapted to your child's age and the parenting approach you selected.

If no library answer fits, the Service may generate an answer with the help of large language models provided by Anthropic, OpenAI or Google (Gemini). AI-generated answers follow the same safety rules as our library.

7.2 What is sent to AI providers

To generate an answer, we send the AI provider only what is needed: the text of your question or description, your child's age group, the parenting approach you selected, whether the child has an ADHD status, and relevant material from our library. We do not send your email address, account identifiers or payment details.

Because you write your question in your own words, it may contain names or other details. Please avoid including information that is not needed.

7.3 How AI providers may use it

We use these providers' business services for developers. They process the information on our behalf to generate the answer, and under their terms for these services they may not use it to train their models. They may retain it for a limited period for abuse monitoring and legal compliance, after which it is deleted.

7.4 Human review and our library

AI-generated answers may be reviewed by authorized members of our content team to check their quality and safety. A reviewed answer may be edited and added to our library so that other parents can benefit from it. Before an answer is added to the library, it is edited so that it does not identify you or your child.

7.5 Your choice

We ask for your separate permission before your questions are sent to an AI provider, and you can turn AI answers off at any time in Settings. Without this permission, you receive answers from our library only. The library, Quick Help, Words That Work, Mini-Courses and our other content work without it.

AI is used to suggest words and approaches. It does not make decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects. You decide whether and how to use any suggestion.

8. Safety detection and emergencies

KidsCue is not an emergency service and is not monitored in real time. If a child or anyone else is in danger, call 911 right away. If you or someone else is thinking about suicide or self-harm, call or text 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline). To report suspected child abuse, call the Childhelp National Child Abuse Hotline at 1-800-422-4453. For a possible poisoning, call Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222.

To help keep children safe, the Service automatically checks messages for signs of a crisis, such as a risk of self-harm, abuse or a medical emergency. When this happens, we show you emergency and support resources. Detected events are recorded and may be reviewed by a small number of specially authorized staff, under additional access controls, to improve our safety responses.

We may disclose information to emergency services or law enforcement where we believe in good faith that this is necessary to prevent imminent serious harm to a child or another person, or where the law requires it.

9. How we disclose information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising. We disclose personal information only as follows:

A list of our service providers is available on request at mykidscue@gmail.com.

10. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy:

11. Your rights and choices

11.1 For all users

Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription purchased through the App Store. Please cancel it in your Apple ID settings.

11.2 State privacy rights

Depending on the state where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it; to access, correct and delete it; to receive a portable copy; to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, targeted advertising and certain profiling (we do not engage in these activities); to limit the use of sensitive personal information; and not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your rights.

To make a request, email mykidscue@gmail.com. We will verify your request, generally by asking you to confirm it from the email address on your account, and respond within 45 days, or sooner where the law requires. We may extend this period once by an additional 45 days where permitted, and we will tell you if we do. You may use an authorized agent; we may ask for proof of the agent's authority and to verify your identity directly. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision. We will respond to your appeal within the time required by law. If we deny your appeal, you may contact your state Attorney General.

We honor Global Privacy Control signals on our website as a request to opt out of the sale and sharing of personal information.

11.3 Nevada residents

We do not sell covered information as defined in Nevada law. Nevada residents may nevertheless submit a request directing us not to sell their covered information by emailing mykidscue@gmail.com.

12. Extra protections for information about children

13. Notice at collection for California residents

In the past 12 months we have collected the following categories of personal information, from the sources and for the purposes described in Sections 4 and 6:

We disclose each category to service providers for business purposes, as described in Section 9. We do not sell or share personal information, including the personal information of consumers under 16, and we use sensitive personal information only for purposes permitted by California law. Our retention periods are described in Section 10.

14. Consumer health data privacy policy

This section is our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy. It applies to consumers in Washington, Nevada, Connecticut and other states with consumer health data laws, and supplements the rest of this policy.

We collect and share consumer health data only with your consent, or as necessary to provide the Service you have requested.

15. Our website

Our website uses only the technologies needed for it to work and to remember your choices. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party advertising trackers. If we add analytics tools in the future, we will update this section first. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

16. Security

We protect information with safeguards appropriate to its sensitivity, including encryption in transit, role-based access controls so that staff can see only what their role requires, multi-factor authentication for administrative access, additional controls for safety records, and logging of administrative actions. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

You can help by using a strong, unique password and keeping your device secure.

17. Where information is processed

KidsCue is based in the United States, and we and our service providers store and process information in the United States. Some service providers may process information in other countries, under contractual protections. The Service is intended for use in the United States.

18. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Service and the law change. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app or by email before they take effect and, where the law requires, ask for your consent. The "Last updated" date at the top of this policy shows when it was last changed.
